1885 Census - Wells Township - Appanoose County, Iowa
This information was transcribed by Berniece Thompson of Bristow, Oklahoma, another Rorabaugh researcher, from microfilm of the original documents. Normally the federal census is taken every 10 years,
but for some reason (which I've forgotten though Berniece explained it to me several years ago when we first
"coincidently" met at the Oklahoma Historical Society library in Oklahoma City) this census was taken in 1885.
